Haryana Gramin Bank Recruitment 2012

Haryana Gramin Bank (HGB) has released its notification for the fiscal year 2012-2013. Even though IBPS is yet to issue scorecards to eligible candidates, HGB has already started the process to recruit eligible candidates into different posts. Following are the details about vacancies that are released by bank:

1. Officer
   
   1. Scale I – 115 posts
   2. Scale II and Scale III – 14 posts
   3. Office assistant – 216 posts

Following are the remuneration offered by the bank for the aforementioned posts:

1. Office assistant – Rs. 13,212
2. Officer (Scale I) – Rs. 26,535
3. Officer (Scale II) – Rs. 35,502
4. Officer (Scale III) – Rs. 47,031

Eligibility Criteria

Indian citizens are eligible to apply for the aforementioned posts. Though prior experience is not a requirement, expose to industry will be a good option. Provided below are the details about its limitations according to the Post.

1. Officers
   
   1. Scale I – 18 to 28 years
   2. Scale II - 21 to 32 years
   3. Scale III - below 40 years
   4. Office assistants - 18 to 28 years

Age relaxation is also applicable wherever necessary and a maximum relaxation of 5 years is offered for SC/ST category and a maximum relaxation of 3 years is offered for OBC category.
  
It is also essential for candidates to possess a valid degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Applicants are also required to have proficiency in the state's official language apart from in the language. Applicants from other states are also eligible as there are no domicile restrictions.
   
Apart from these, it is also essential for a candidate to clear the IBPS examination with minimum scores as described below:

1. Office assistant - Gen/OBC - 95 marks; SC/ST - 89 marks
2. Officer (scale I) - Gen/OBC - 103 marks; SC/ST - 97 marks

Selection procedure

Candidates who have appeared for the IBPS examination and have cleared it with minimum score are shortlisted for the posts. A ratio of one is to be is applicable for the final round of personal interview that will be held in Rohtak (Haryana). The personal interview is scaled for 30 marks. The merit list is prepared by the bank after the interview procedure has been completed. Appointment letter is offered by the bank to the selected candidates.

How to Apply for Haryana Gramin Bank Recruitment 2012

An application fee of Rs. 100/- for general/OBC and Rs. 20/- for SC/ST is applicable and should be paid in cash at any branch of Haryana Gramin Bank or Punjab National Bank. Fee challans are available over the website and applicants should download the same to make the payment.
