LIC DSE Recruitment 2013 for 12529 Posts All Over India Announced

Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) came into existence in the year 1956.it is the public sector and the most oldest and popular insurance company in the field of insurance. It has 2000 branches spread across the 8 zones. It has announced recently for the recruitment of 12,959 vacancies for the post of Direct Sales Executive.
  
The main work of a DSE in the company is to involve in marketing activities which includes meeting customers and bring them in the new business. Also, to provide various policies to customers in the areas allotted to them. The work also contains, touring and travelling within the regions allotted to them.

Post – Vacancies:

The posts (12529) are divided into the 8 zones. For central zone it is 877, for east central zone it is 1312, for eastern zone it is 721, for north central zone it is 1537,for northern zone it is 2403,for south central zone it is 1486,for southern zone it is 1815,for western zone it is 2378.The all the position will be given on the basis of a contract which will be of 3 years.
  
Dates:
The online application registration will commence from 08.12.201 and will last on 28.12.2012.The announcement of written examination and interview will be made later.

Who is eligible?

The eligibility criteria are based on age, qualification and computer skills. The age must be between 21 to 35 years .For the reserved category it is maximum 40 years and for OBC it is 38 years. The candidate must have done their graduation from any recognized university. The candidates who have majors in marketing will be given preference. Besides this the candidate must good proficiency in both Hindi and English language and have knowledge of computers. The monthly remuneration will be fixed on the basis of the executive’s performance.
 

Selection process

The selection will be made on the basis of a written exam followed by an interview. The intimation of date and the venue for exam will be announced later. The test will consist reasoning, numerical aptitude, general knowledge and sales aptitude. There are many books that can help the candidates for their preparation and can be purchased online through cash or net banking. Also the LIC DSE exam guide is available for Rs.190 which can be purchased online.
  

Registration fee

The application fee for the general candidates is Rs.100 and has to be submitted in any of the LIC branch in the account number 1143034 and against which a receipt can be obtained which will contain the payment details. This receipt has to be submitted at the time of exam or interview.
 
The information should then be filled in the online form which is available on the website www.licindia.in. The print out of the application form and the user name and password are to be kept safe for the future reference.
