Indian Air Force offers opportunities for UNMARRIED MALE INDIAN CITIZENS from all the Districts of State of Arunachal Pradesh,

Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland and Tripura to become airmen. The Recruitment test for Group ‘X’ (Technical) trades will be held at Jalan Outdoor Stadium (Near Don Bosco School) Boiragimoth, Dibrugarh (Assam) as per the Selection Programme given below.

02 February 2013: Written Test and Physical Fitness Test (PFT) for Group ‘X’ (Technical) trades.

03 February 2013: Interview of candidates passed Written Test and PFT on 02 February 2012. Trade Allocation Test (TAT) and Medical Examination for candidates qualified in Interview.

ELIGIBILITY:

DATE OF BIRTH BLOCK. Candidates should be born between 01 January 1992 to 31 March 1996 (both days inclusive).

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
(a) Candidate should have passed Intermediate or 10+2 or equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and English with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

OR

(b) Three year Diploma Course in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical or Electronics or Automobile or Computer Science or Instrumentation Technology or Information Technology) with at least 50% marks in overall aggregate from a Government recognized Polytechnic Institute.

DOMICILE REQUIREMENT.
To be eligible to appear in the rally at Jalan Outdoor Stadium (Near Don Bosco School) Boiragimoth, Dibrugarh (Assam) the candidates are required to satisfy the following conditions:

(a) Should have passed the qualifying examination from any of the RECOGNISED BOARDS/UNIVERSITY.
(b) The School / College /Polytechnic Institute from where candidates have passed the qualifying examination should be within the geographical/administrative limits of the STATE OF ARUNACHAL PRADESH, ASSAM, MEGHALAYA, NAGALAND AND TRIPURA If the name of District is not mentioned with the name of Institution in the certificate / marks sheets of qualifying examination, the candidates are to produce ‘DOMICILE CERTIFICATE’ issued by SDM/DM/Executive Magistrate or any other official authorised by the State Governments of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland and Tripura.
(c) Permanent Domicile of the State of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland and Tripura who have passed the qualifying examination from any other State in India are also eligible, provided they produce the Domicile Certificate prior to commencement of examination from appropriate authority as given in sub-paragraph (b) above.
(d) Sons of Serving/Retired/Discharged/ Deceased Air Force Personnel, irrespective of their domicile status may be permitted to appear in the rally subject to submission of Son of Air Force Personnel Certificate as a proof in the following categories: -

(i) Father/Mother is presently serving in any Air Force Unit located in the State of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland and Tripura.
(ii) Ex-IAF personnel/families of deceased personnel who are residing in the State of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland and Tripura. (on production of proof of minimum stay of one year and Original and one photocopy of discharge book).

MEDICAL STANDARDS :-
(a) General Medical Standards for Group ‘X’ (Technical) trades are as follows:
(i) Height: Minimum height required is 152.5 cms.
(ii) Chest: Minimum range of expansion: 5 cm
(iii) Weight: Proportionate to height and age.
(iv) Corneal Surgery (PRK/LASIK) not acceptable.
(v) Hearing: Candidate should have normal hearing i.e. able to hear forced whisper from a distance of 6 meters with each ear separately.
(vi) Dental: Should have healthy gums, good set of teeth and minimum 14 dental points.
(vii) Health: Candidate should be free from medical or surgical deformity. He should be free from all communicable diseases and skin ailments. Candidate must be physically and mentally FIT to perform duty in any part of the world, in any climate and terrain.

WRITING MATERIALS AND DOCUMENTS REQUIRED. Candidates are to bring the following:-
(a) HB Pencil, Eraser, Sharpener, Gum tube, Stapler and Black/Blue Ball Point Pen for writing.
(b) Seven copies of recent front portrait (without headgear except for Sikh) passport-size (5 cm X 4 cm) colour photograph taken on or after 02 November 2012. Photographs should be on good quality “photo paper”.
(c) Two unstamped self-addressed 24×10 cm white envelopes of good quality.
(d) Original and three photocopies of each of all educational certificates and marks sheets and domicile as well as NCC certificates (if applicable).

Consent Form: (as per the format given with the advertisement) Candidates are to bring the “Consent Form’ to the Examination Venue and submit it before the Physical Fitness Test. Candidates below 18 years of age are to get the Consent form filled and signed by their parent/guardian. The candidates of 18 years of age and above can sign the consent form themselves.

CANDIDATES ARE NOT TO FILL UP APPLICATION FORMS BEFORE THE EXAMINATION. THE FORMS WILL BE PROVIDED FREE OF COST AT THE RECRUITMENT RALLY SITE BY THE INDIAN AIR FORCE AUTHORITIES AND ARE TO BE FILLED BY THE CANDIDATES AT THE RALLY SITE.
