of National Importance
conducting UG programmes in Engineering and Technology. It is one of the 10
(Ten)
newly established NITs in the country. Applications
for the under mentioned Faculty positions against Advt No.
NIT-MZ/Faculty/02/2013 in the prescribed format are invited from Indian
Nationals possessing consistently good academic record, with commitment to
quality teaching and potential for conduct of research.- Electrical & Electronics Engg.

Scale
of Pay (Revised):
(i)
For Professor: Rs. 37,400-67,000+AGP 10,000/-
(ii)
For Associate Professor: Rs. 37,400-67,000+AGP 9,000/-
(iii)
For Assistant Professor: Rs. 15,600-39,100+AGP 6,000/7000/8000.
Reservations: Reservation will be as per Govt. of India norms for SC/ST/OBC/PWD.
Application Fee of Rs. 200/- (for general & OBC) and Rs. 100/- (for SC/ST/PWD)
in the form of Demand Draft in favour of Director, National Institute of
Technology, Mizoram payable at Aizawl should be enclosed along with the Application Form.
The
application form shall not be supplied on postal request. The candidates
are advised to download the same from our website. The duly completed
application form along with the enclosures shall be sent by speed/registered post to The Director, National Institute of
Technology, Mizoram, Chaltlang Dawrkawn, Aizawl: Mizoram – 796012. In addition,
applicants are required to submit filled in application form through institute
e-mail also.

Application in the prescribed format completed in all respects along with attested
copies of relevant testimonials, certificates should be submitted, along with a
Demand Draft of Rs. 200/- for General Candidates and Rs. 100/- for SC/ST/PH
drawn in favour of The Director, NIT Mizoram payable at SBI BAWNGKAWN BRANCH,
AIZAWL: MIZORAM, to “The Director, National Institute of Technology- Mizoram,
Chaltlang Dawrkawn, Aizawl: Mizoram– 796012”, on or before 9th April 2013. The
envelope containing the application be superscribed as “APPLICATION FOR THE
POST OF ……….. DEPARTMENT………………”.
